Planetary Annihilation Lessons, Tips, and Tricks (spoilers)

When you’re that surrounded, having a ring of radar coverage around your base is important so you know when you’re being attacked before it happens.

Never attack with your Commander without fabricator support and never forget to repair your Commander when he’s damaged.

In FFAs, particularly large FFAs, Determining who to attack is almost as important as what to build. Don’t pick a fight with someone who is stronger than you and don’t pick a fight with too many people at once.

Laser Defense Towers have been nerfed. They no longer take out Ants with one hit.

When you step up to Orbital, it’s generally a good idea to build Avenger’s (orbital fighter) first, rather than a satellite that can get shot down. The only reason to not not build an Avenger first is if you’ve scouted the entire planet and know your opponent(s) haven’t reached orbital.

Spread out your base so Nuclear Missiles don’t destroy all of your economy in one shot.

When you hear the double buzz of your Commander un attack, stop everything you’re doing and defend it.

Late in the game when you control an entire planet, I don’t see any reason why not to have 2 fabricators building endless energy and metal storage. Especially when you’re floating so much economy.

When you control an entire planet, you should build a network of Catapults covering the entire planet. This prevents a fabricator from landing on the planet and building a base.
