Planetary Annihilation Gameplay Summary:

Some very nice Planetary Annihilation gameplay between ZaphodX & Murcanic on a very nice moon. An excellent example of lots of raiding.

Planetary Annihilation Lessons, Tips, and Tricks (spoilers)

I’ve talked about this before, it’s one of my favorite tactics after all. One of the best parts of attacking on multiple sides is it causes your opponent to send his army to defend, allowing your second attack to run into less resistance.

The downside of Nuke Missiles means they have a lot of economy invested in those missiles. So this means they have less units and expansion, means you can likely overwhelm your opponent.

Nuclear Missiles are the main reason you want to spread out your base, particularly your energy. If one nuclear missile is able to destroy all of your energy, then the game is lost.

Something this match has shown, and I’ve noticed in the past few games I’ve played, one of the best things you can do is attack constantly from every side. When your opponent is reacting to your attacks, even if they aren’t overly successful attacks, the damage to your opponent’s base, the constant scrambling, the lack of focus on expansion, the mental scrambling, and everything, makes a huge difference.
