Planetary Annihilation Gameplay Summary:

Another great Planetary Annihilation match with the new alpha. Interesting strategy starting in separate areas. Gives you more starting map control, but leaves you more vulnerable to early attack. Previous times I’ve seen people do this it didn’t work out well for them.

A little coordination issues between zaphodx and ghostflux. Practice and coordination is key.

Holy shit pink had a lot of factories.

Double commanders is a force to be reckoned with.

Unless you’re attacking with your commanders, make sure they’re on different sides of your base.

Very nice job constantly expanding by zaphodx. Him building a bunch of mass, and then a few factories was brilliant. It scales up your economy and production beautifully. Also helps keep your expansions protected, and if your base gets overwhelmed, you have production power to fall back on.

Nice bot usage by nanolathe and muchroomars. It allowed them to be constantly raiding on all sides, and zaphodx and ghostflux had a difficult time reacting to the attacks with slow moving tanks. Uber is doing a good job balancing units so Planetary Annihilation unit diversity is not only helpful, but necessary.

Bots make great raiders and flankers to keep your opponent on his toes. Vehicles make for good sledgehamers making a massive dent in your opponent’s base.
