Planetary Annihilation Lessons, Tips, and Tricks (spoilers)

Free for All matches with multiple players have a good amount of meta gaming. The key is to be on the offensive so you’re gaining ground and damaging your opponents, but it’s even more important that you don’t stretch yourself out too thin. You (generally) can’t fight two players at once. So don’t piss off too many players.

This match shows how important proxy bases are. When you’re fighting on multiple fronts, unit travel time is a big factor. It helps to have Factories scattered around.

Patrolling Fighters (Hummingbirds) are very helpful for scouting, protecting against raiding Bombers (Bumblebees). They’re also helpful for fighting off bombers that are attacking your raiding forces. So if your attackers are getting bombed, send your bombers in to take out the attacking bombers, and then bring the fighters back to your base.

Ants are terrible at fighting Levelers. Doxes are surprisingly good against Levelers though. They’re fast, hard to hit, and able to close range quickly.
