Planetary Annihilation Lessons, Tips, and Tricks (spoilers)

Map control is critical for controlling metal spots and retaining a strong economy.

With Army marches, the economies are much larger, faster. That means stepping up to Advanced is viable a lot sooner. In solo matches, Advanced is viable around 9 minutes to 12 minutes. Any later and you’re probably too late. With army matches with more Commanders, going advanced can be done earlier.

Late game, large armies can cause large amounts of damage when they attack an unprotected side. Scouting, radar, and satellite coverage is critical. If you don’t scout an incoming attack, you can lose most of your base. But if you see it coming, you can prepare a defense.

Always always ALWAYS repair your Commander. Dying to a nuke because you forgot to repair is a terrible way to go.

In multiple team Planetary Annihilation matches, choosing who to attack is just as important, if not more important, than how you attack. Constantly scout and figure out who the biggest threat is and where they’re vulnerable.
