Planetary Annihilation Lessons, Tips, and Tricks (spoilers)

When spawning separately, for Army or Alliance, be sure to expand towards your allies. Late game, building teleporters to your ally’s base is also very helpful.

Build early radar! The intel it provides is invaluable. Even late game it is invaluable as you can see incoming attacks and react to them before they get into the middle of your base.

Build storage. It is an extremely undervalued building in Planetary Annihilation. Storage is extremely helpful to prevent wasting economy, recover from attacks, and prevent from going into the negative when stepping up to Advanced.

When attacking, focus down on economy buildings. That is the best way to cripple your opponent.

When you take out an opponent, there’s now lots of map control and metal spots up for grabs, so go get it!

Never stop expanding! The longer the game wears on, the more important expansion is.

Scout constantly. Zaphod didn’t scout. He had radar coverage, but no clue what the dots were.

Don’t neglect air. Zaphod could have been very easily gunship/bomber sniped as the match wore on. Air isn’t as powerful as it used to be, but it is still very powerful.

Orbital is extremely pwerful and useful, even on single planet systems.
