A very exciting and very back and forth Planetary Annihilation match.

Planetary Annihilation Lessons, Tips, and Tricks (spoilers)

Early aggression is the most commonly employed tactic of the best players out there.

Stepping up to advanced can be a very nasty surprise for your opponents, especially advanced air. Don’t show your hand if you don’t have to.

The Orbital Factory is a basic factory and should be built early. Gaining access to the metal of other planets is a huge advantage.

If you lose air superiority, begin investing in Flak Towers. They’re very good for taking out air units, particularly dense swarms of aircraft.

Never stop expanding. Red did a great job gaining lots of map control, and Purple never even challenged all that map control.

Constantly constantly constantly scout. Intel on what your opponent is doing and what is undefended is vital. Finding and destroying unguarded metal extractors is very very important.

Don’t forget to build Orbital Fighters to protect and attack the Orbital Layer.

If you’re about to lose control of a base or planet, send out a bunch of fabricators to hide so you don’t completely lose the entire planet. They probably won’t do much, but can help by building teleporters, building economy, and being a annoyance for your opponent.

If you fully, or almost fully, control a planet, invest hard in Air. For large planets, bombers are one of best ways to defend against against teleporters being built on the planet or units landing via an Astraeus.
