Planetary Annihilation Gameplay Summary:

Despite the amount of lag in this match, it’s an exciting game with lots going on. The match kicks off with some Commander battling, then some cautious expansion, and then some strategic raiding.

I would have loved to see this match commentated.

Planetary Annihilation Lessons, Tips, and Tricks (spoilers)

Commanders are powerful units. But don’t be too brazen with them. Over extending yourself with your Commander can lead to a loss. Planetary Annihilation can be unforgiving.

I say it all the time, but in multi team matches, choosing who to attack and when is almost as important as the how to attack.

Never stop expanding.

Scout! Scout all the time. It’s very helpful for finding incoming attacks and raiding weak areas. We were able to get in very helpful raids because we scouted and found undefended areas.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, use radar. Radar coverage is very helpful in Planetary Annihilation, allowing you to react to incoming attacks before they get there rather than after they’re steamrolling through your base.
