• In the Alliance game mode, if you have excess economy, the surplus will be given to your ally. Communication is going to be incredibly important with sharing economies. It looks a lot more fun than the current form of Alliance moce.
  • Metal storage holds 20k metal, as opposed to 5k metal. That makes Metal storage buildings incredibly useful – especially with excess economy sharing.
  • As was revealed in a previous playtest, basic ground units are faster.
  • There’s a bug where allies cannot use an allies teleporter. That is most unfortunate. It’d also be pretty cool if allies could hook up their teleporters to their allies teleporter.
  • Doxes as Grenadiers seem to have a slightly better time hitting moving units, but still do an extremely poor job of it.
  • Meta needs to learn how to make sure all of his factories are on. He has wasted economy, and idle factories. Major mistake.
  • As we already know, eventually we’ll be able to set up factory queues to go straight through a teleporter.
  • Anti-nuke launchers cost 18k metal, and comes with no missiles – as previously mentioned in another playstream. Anti-nuke missile costs 17k metal.
  • The circling nuke bug is back! Frustrating for players who launched the missile, hilarious for players who watched the missile.
  • The shared fog of war for alliance teammates still isn’t working. I coulda sworn that worked in a previous build – maybe not.
  • Almost all Advanced buildings have had their costs increased to scale with the new increased advanced economy.
  • Sounds like storage buildings will have line build mode for area commands instead of circle build.
  • It seems Advanced Metal Extractors have more health.
  • The new vertical lines that indicate where Orbital Units are show up on planets that you are not currently viewing. I wonder what that does for performance, and whether those should not be seen for planets you’re not selected.
  • The Devs ran into pretty hardcore lag about halfway through the match. Always sad when that happens. 🙁
  • More bugs with Alliance mode – attack move tries to attack allied units.
  • The devs were complaining about it still being difficult to find units in space – so that means we’ll probably get even more improvements to Orbital UI. After all, the greatest difficulty with Orbital isn’t the gameplay, but the UI.
  • The new Doxes do lead targets, so they aren’t as inaccurate as they were originally.
