I’m really excited about what’s being seen in this build. Lots of very exciting features and changes are being implemented and it is going to improve the game so much.

  • It sounds like we’ll be able to build a factory first, but storage hasn’t been properly adjusted to accommodate that. Personally, I’m very excited about this change. It’ll speed up the early game.
  • Also seems that energy plants have been switched to line rather than area by default.
  • Infinite build mode has been implemented so we don’t have to queue up a bunch of units, we can just set factories to never stop building. Looks like the infinite build mode will alternate, so you can have them building mixes of units rather than just one unit.
  • Naval ships are now very very slow.
  • New Unit and Structures
    • Anchor: Defense Satellite, costs 1,200 metal. Used to defend the orbital layer above your base.
    • Advanced Combat Fabrication Bot, Advanced Combat Fabrication: Repairs units and build battlefield structures. Costs 1,260 metal.
    • Flack Cannon: Flack Cannon: Powers anti-air defense turret. Costs 300 metal.
  • Teleporters are really cool
  • The orbital fabrication bot can build teleporters from orbit.
  • (Uber devs don’t know how to manage their economy)
  • The Stomper has been renamed the “GIL-E” and its role has been switched from an artillery unit to a sniper bot.
  • The Patrol Area command looks AMAZING. Great for invasions, scouting, patrols
  • Shellers have been re-balanced. They now have a slower rate of fire, but more damage per shot making them ideal defensive anti-structure units – like they should be.
  • The Advanced Radar Satellite has been re-balanced. Not quite sure how it has changed. But it doesn’t give full vision of the entire planet. So it seems that they simply have had their vision greatly reduced.
  • Combat Fabrication Bots will have extended range, so they can repair from farther away than regular fabrication bots.
  • Land Mines – combat fabricators can build land mines. They cost 150 metal each.
