Info

The Pelter is an artillery defensive structure capable of firing great ranges. However, it’s slow fire rate and slow projectile speed means it’s only reliably effective against stationary units, buildings, and large blobs of ground or naval units. It is not capable of targeting air units.

With its extensive range, high damage per shot, and capabilities to be built on water, the Pelter is good at defending against invading Naval units. Ships are slower than bots or vehicles, so it’s more difficult for a moving Naval unit to evade pelter fire.

History

In the 54357/54382 update, the Pelter can now be built on water.

The Pelter’s DPS was also upped to 70, with 300 damage per shot, 1 shot every 2 seconds. The HP was also upped from 150 o 450.

In build 55430, the ammo lifetime was increased.

In the Build 59549, several changes were made.

  • Weapon Pitch Rate: 30 -> 15
  • Weapon Yaw Rate: 30 -> 15

In the Planetary Annihilation Build 61250, the splash radius was changed from 5 to 12 and the full damage reaches out to 6 meters.

In the 67342 Build the projectile velocity was changed from 275 to 150.
